Dresses, dresses and more dresses...

I finished making 5 new dresses over a month ago but I have been a little slow to post them. They come in two different lengths and three different color combinations. They are created from my own patterns but inspired by the classic pillow case dresses from the seventies. They tie to one side for easy removal and adjusting.

Two are already gone but I am more than happy to customize any order.

Short dresses...
Long dresses...

Here are a few examples of different stitching options. The first is a zigzag stitch...
And this is a leaf stitch...
My daughter LoVeS these dresses and they are especially adorable when paired with leggings.

Here we go...

I LOVE TO SEW! It is my release from everything else in life. Every weekend as a child I would either go fishing and crabbing with my dad or head to LaConner with my mom to browse her favorite fabric store. I can remember every detail of that store and I just loved picking out new yarn and fabrics to work with at home. Now as an adult and a mommy I am inspired by my children. There is something about making or buying something homemade that just feels right.

I have been dreaming of starting my own business for years now but I really didn't think that it would happen this quickly. I have been sewing some little things as shower gifts lately and soon found myself with a few requests from others. I still have A LOT to do to get my blog ready but I thought I would just give those of you who have been asking a little sneak peak. I don't have pictures of the dresses or onesies up yet but they are ready to go.

Please enjoy and PLEASE send me feedback!

Mini Taggie Blanket
This is a 8" x 8" blankie perfect for little hands. There is a "crunchie" material inside that babies love to feel. Pacifiers and toys are easily attached with plastic rings and make it easy to attach to a car seat or stroller.
Burb Cloths
Burb cloths come in a sets of two. They are extra long to hang over each side of your shoulder. The backside is made of terry cloth to clean up any left over mess and the inside has an extra layer of lining to help prevent leakage.
Bibs
Each bib is made with a terry cloth backside and an extra layer of lining inside. Metal clasps or velcro are used to enclose each bib and a simple ribbon embelishes the front.
Gift Set:
The gift set includes: 1 bib, 2 burb cloths and a mini taggie all in matching fabric.
Large Taggie Blanket
The large taggie blanket is 20" x 30". Fabric of your choice is on one side and minky fabric is on the back. There is NO "crunchie" material in the large taggie. They come with or without the monogrammed initial. They are great for attaching some favorite toys for baby to play with while on the floor, stroller or cuddled in your arms. (Taggie attachments are not sold with the blanket.)
